Peak District
If you have ever been to England you probably know that drivers don’t like cyclists very much. For the ones living in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, the national park Peak District is definitely a great escape to traffic and noises.
In this part of the country the landscape is characterized by continuous rolling hills and vast fields which are often partitioned by low stone walls, a very old and traditional method.
If you are planning to go riding in the Peak District remember you will have to commit to a decent effort, especially when it comes to legs, considering the climbs are short but steep and the weather conditions will usually not be at your side for most of the year.
