Patagonia Gravel
If there is a place that is worth visiting with a gravel bike, that is Patagonia.
Most roads are actually off-road, meaning stretches of tarmac are very short. It is a place where more than anywhere I have ever been, nature does it's job and humans have not interfered much yet.
The pure vastness, the landscapes where silence inhabits gives oneself the feeling of being immersed in a pristine land.
Lots of altitude and tough roads are also part of the experience, hence the importance of a gravel bike.
Some adventures are worth doing them while still feeling comfortable: the most used option down there is mountain bike, but the gravel community is growing exponentially considering the possible use of the bike even in cold months where there is snow everywhere.
Visiting Patagonia gives you the opportunity of riding off-road and yet feel connected to nature, being able to look around, appreciate, slow down and be present.
In other words, riding a gravel bike gives us infinite possibilities in a place where nature also seems to be infinite in it's beauty and wilderness.
